Marisabel Cabrera, Esquire

Ms. Cabrera was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Iberian Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. While in college, Ms. Cabrera studied abroad in Madrid, Spain at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 2002, she received her Juris Doctor with a concentration in Corporate Law from Michigan State University College of Law. Her legal experience includes handling a wide variety of immigration cases including family reunification, deportation defense, naturalization and citizenship matters. Additionally, she appeared daily before immigration judges at the Chicago and Miami Executive Office for Immigration Review, where she successfully represented many individuals in their claims for Adjustment of Status, Cancellation, NACARA petitions, Political Asylum, and Withholding of Removal.  Ms. Cabrera is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is also fluent in Spanish.
