Legal Assistant

Christy Ackerman graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Christy has over fifteen years of experience in the legal field.

Blanca is currently enrolled at Daytona State College studying to obtain her paralegal degree. She is a native of Mexico, fluent in Spanish and brings 2 years of legal experience to our firm.

Zaymarie graduated from Universidad de Puerto Rico, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She has been working in the legal field for 7 years and she is fluent in Spanish.

Paige is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Roanoke College with degrees in Communications and Spanish. She has studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Shanghai, China, in addition to taking Spanish and Mandarin Chinese courses through Johns Hopkins University. She is excited to begin her legal career at our firm.

Legal Assistant

Stephany was born and raised in border cities, El Paso, TX and Juarez, Mexico. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Stephany graduated from El Paso Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science Paralegal. In addition to her personal lived experiences witnessing immigration at the border firsthand, she brings a wealth of professional experience in the immigration field. Stephany works fully remote from Texas.

Practice Manager

Jacqueline joined David F. Vedder, P.A. in December 2011. She is a native of Cuba, fluent in Spanish having migrated to Florida in 1980 where she studied Business Administration at Miami Dade College. She brings over 25+ years of accounting and business management experience to our firm.
