USCIS Extends EADs and Deferred Enforced Departure for Liberia

USCIS announced that it will automatically extend employment authorization documents (EADs) for Liberian nationals covered under Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) following President Obama's announcement of an extension of DED for eligible Liberians through March 31, 2018. Current DED-based EADs that have an expiration date of September 30, 2016, will now be valid through March 31, 2017. USCIS will publish a notice in the Federal Register with more information.
