Barbara is a native of Argentina, graduated from Universidad de Belgrano, Buenos Aires, with a Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Literary and Scientific-Technical Translation. She has done extensive work as a professional translator/interpreter. Barbara brings over fifteen years of experience in the legal field.

Christy Ackerman graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Christy has over twenty years of experience in the legal field.
Zaymarie Gonzalez
Legal Assistant
Zaymarie graduated from Universidad de Puerto Rico, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She has been working in the legal field for 7 years and she is fluent in Spanish.
Carlos Agudelo

Carlos, a native of Colombia, earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Political Science from Florida International University in Miami. He has extensive experience in the legal field, having worked in both the non-profit and private sectors.

Vita brings over a decade of administrative experience and attended Truman College in Chicago, IL. Vita is native of Mexico, fluent in Spanish.
Nikole Bordones
Intake Specialist
Nikole earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing a Juris Master at Florida State University. Born and raised in Venezuela, she brings fluency in Spanish and a strong personal connection to the immigration experience.

Jacqueline joined Vedder & Jattan, P.A. in December 2011. She is a native of Cuba, fluent in Spanish having migrated to Florida in 1980 where she studied Business Administration at Miami Dade College. She brings over thirty years of accounting and business management experience to our firm.
