3 Tips For Coming To A Meeting At Our Daytona Beach Immigration Law Office
Whether this is your first time meeting with an immigration attorney or you have worked with one before, it can be helpful to come prepared. Here are some tips to think about before your meeting.
When you schedule a meeting with us, our staff will tell you what you need to bring to the meeting. We will ask that you bring any documents related to your immigration case or status. For example, if you have already tried to apply for a green card but have been denied, please bring the denial notice you were sent by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Please always keep any documents you receive about your case, as well as copies of any documents you submit.
Immigration cases can take time. We will be working together for the duration. During our first meeting, we want you to make sure you are comfortable with us. Please ask us any questions that are important to you. Feel free to ask about our experience handling cases like yours, the laws that apply to your case, or anything else along those lines. We are happy to answer any questions you have about our background, the law or your case.
Be prepared to take notes. These matters can be complex. We will follow up with any requests we have for you, but it may be helpful for you to take notes too.
